Block.one: voting begins in May
Good news has been announced regarding the EOS blockchain: Block.one, the company behind the development of its blockchain, will begin to actively vote in governance from May.

the communicated is divided into 2 parts: in the first we learn the news block.one created the Public Blockchain Engagement (PBE), a division to put the company in contact with the different blockchain communities, including the different very active sister chains.
The goal is to try to establish some sort of EOS Foundation which will be the point of reference for aggregating all those who actively lead the development of this blockchain.
The post also refers to recent records over 100 million transactions happened in one day.
The second part of the press release, for its part, concerns governance and, after a brief explanation of how the Block Producers (BP) system works, Block.one explains that it has decided to vote on the front line for the BPs that he considers them worthy of their work.
In a system DPO (Proof of delegated participation) it is indeed possible to vote according to their will, which has points out the CEO, Brendan Blumer, just a few hours before this outing.
To do this, block.one will use well-defined criteria that will focus on those who have really made a significant contribution: in fact, there are several BPs that work in this direction, let’s take for example EOS Nation who recently created a tool to do decentralized pools, or of EOSRapid with their experience of video conference on the EOS blockchain.
Block.one, with your account b1, Oh good 90 million EOS at stake which can move the balancing needle in the first 21 of the BP.
Between the first BP and the 21st, there are only 5 million votes and it would therefore be easy to allow the next ones to enter the top 21, also because the voting system within the blockchain allows to vote for up to 30 candidates.
